Description

This appendix extends the official SFI Group System (v7.12) across four operational domains:

Emission reduction and energy efficiency — MARPOL Annex VI (NOx, SOx), IMO EEXI and CII, EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime.
Alternative and low-emission fuels — methanol, ammonia, hydrogen and LNG fuel gas supply systems.
Cable laying and specialised cargo handling — cable lay vessels and heavy lift offshore operations.
Ballast water treatment and underwater vehicles — BWTS compliance systems and ROV operations.

No existing official SFI codes are overwritten. All extensions occupy confirmed unassigned code space.

Description

This appendix extends the official SFI Group System (v7.12) for dredging and offshore construction vessels. Items are placed under 482 — Dredging Equipment (Primary Group 4) and Primary Group 9.

Dredging — TSHD, CSD and Backhoe Dredger plant, from seabed engagement through slurry transport to material discharge.
Offshore lifting and deck operations — A-frames, active heave-compensated winches, skid and rail systems.
Subsea intervention and offshore construction — LARS, subsea power and control, offshore construction tooling.
